Summary

The team of Prof. Galán- Mascarós is dedicated to the development of hybrid molecular materials with custom properties. By means of the suitable design and selection of building blocks, organic linkers and metal centers, they face very different challenges: from intelligent materials for low cost thermal / optical devices, to nanostructured electrocatalysts destined to participate in systems of solar fuels. Prof. Galán-Mascarós coordinates the A-LEAF project, with 13 partners, and with the objective of producing fuels and chemical products from water and CO2 imitating the photosynthesis of green plants.
